Stereo systems and speakers

Stereo are usually defined as a set of stereo speakers and a subwoofer is connected to an amplifier in your home. The stereo or stereo is the ability to create a directional sound from two independent audio speakers. The term derives from the Greek word stereo stereo, which means solid phone, which means sound. The stereo multichannel sound has evolved.

Multichannel sound, also known as surround sound requires at least four and up to sevenindependent audio channels or speakers placed in front of and behind the center of the sound and it envelops the listener. The multichannel sound is also known as 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1.

Stereo are normally connected to obtain a 5.1-channel surround sound. 5.1 on a system equivalent to five speakers or satellites and a subwoofer that gives you a full sound throughout the room. A 5.1-channel is a standard format for movies and music with five main channelssound and a subwoofer sixth channel (a channel called the point) used for special effects for movies and music for the bass. 5.1 system consists of a pair of speakers, a speaker placed between the center channel stereo speakers and two speakers behind the listener.

6.1 sound adds a channel to 5.1 channel sound enhancement with a center speaker between the two extra surround speakers directly behind the listener. 6.1-channel sounds produced a moreenveloping surround.

A further improvement is a 7.1 channel 5.1 channel surround sound with two speakers on either side of the driving position of the listener. A 7.1 channel is primarily used for a more accurate placement of sounds.

Although the Home Stereo System is available in several versions, for the most people defined as a configuration 2.1, equal to two speakers and a subwoofer. In this way, we see many computers as it gives great sound for games ormusic on your PC. As people are interested in reaching your surround sound home theater system with a 2.1, is becoming increasingly popular to the stereo system in a 2.1 home theater to 2.1 channels. Home Theater 2.1 channel is a stereo system that mimics the sound home theater. Using a 2.1-channel home theater, you can avoid the congestion of additional speakers and son. So how can we transform our system of small and simple stereo 2.1 to 2.1 and a home theater system from thisspeakers avoid adding to our system?

Some systems have special software, a 2.1 channel surround sound to mimic the effect with two speakers. This is called a virtual surround sound (VSS). VSS creates an enveloping surround sound effect with two front speakers and a subwoofer. Using a 5.1-channel decoder and combine it with special digital circuits that simulate the sound of the rear channel speakers in a 2.1 system can deliver a virtual surround sound. So, you need to get the VSSget a pre-packaged or receiver. The most common is difficult to choose an all-in-one that offers you everything you need as a Blu-ray player, receiver, two speakers and a subwoofer.

VSS is great as it is still only a virtual simulation of surround sound, so you will always be better than 5.1. But for people with limited space or do not like the child in the house a home VSS is the answer.
